Importing little red riding hood file to Sound Trap:
By clicking on the 'import file', I should be able to add the little red riding hood podcast into the software.
I previewed it to make sure there was no errors.
By following the plan document, I added the music 'bunny hop' which I had already downloaded.
What I was going to do, is put the volume down around the average setting, since I want to think more about the audience and they wouldn't be able to hear the narrator speaking over a loud track.
For the bunny hop audio, I'm going to start it off as a faded in, then going into the original audio volume.
I think with the audio faded at the start, will give the narrator a chance to talk more about the story. Also, I wanted to attach that so it can be used to slowly introduce a shot to a viewer. Moreover, it can also be used to make a dramatic effect. For instance, going from a beautiful audio/peaceful to heavy metal, as if another character with a different stereotype is being presented. In other words, it can also make the audio a bit smoother and create a dramatic effect.
I even did the same with the other tracks I've imported into the platform.
For this audio track, I had to cut out the starting point and leaving the ending as it is, since the knocking at the start was too quiet and I want the audience to hear the sounds of a knocking door. Something that will make them jump out of their seats or to interest them.
So halfway through finishing, I was able to import the tracks I am going to be including, using the plan I had already done.
For each track, I had to make the volume loud or quiet, because I want the audience to imagine what it would be like to experience the same phase.
So for the SFX, I wanted to make them a bit louder.
When the narrator was up to the line 'the wolf gobbled her up', I came up with an idea to make this story even more interesting, by adding a bit of dramatic music to show how the grandma sees the wolf in her perspective.
So with adding dramatic music 'Flutey Sting' and a fade in and out, I was able to recreate a sound effect, making it how the grandma sees the wolf in her eyes.
(With the faded, white triangles meaning the track has been faded in and been faded out)
