Task 1

Actor: Dwayne Johnson

Role: Will Sawyer (Skyscaper 2018)

Dwayne Johnson first rose to fame as "The Rock," a popular wrestling personality. He then became a box-office star, appearing in films including 'The Scorpion King,' 'Hercules' and 'The Fast and the Furious' franchise.

How important are they to the success of the film?

Dwayne Johnson creates a 'sense of memory' to allow his role to come to life, meaning giving a very realistic performance like he is actually the character, but no matter what technique he incorporates, the most important factor in film acting is to be believable, to make the audience think that the film was actually real. Moreover, in the film 'skyscraper' he becomes the hero, by jumping over the crane to save his children from a burning building. Which shows how strong he is and loads of people will look up to him.

Task 2

Actor: Brie Larson

Role: Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel)

Carol Danvers becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. She is known for her acting and her style throughout the films she has contributed in.

Adjectives to describe her:

- Body language (Her arms are in a badass, relaxed position/how strong she is) shows who she truly is as a real person.

Many action movies like this, a lot of people would look up to her because she shows courage and inspiration. Her strength and bravery, saving the world from disaster.

- Expression: Showing that her eyes are staring at a specific object and how she looks determined.

As we can see on the film poster, they want the audience to focus more on her because of her figure.

- Her ability: Lightening coming out of her hands, showing how strong and determined she is to save the world from devastation and tragedy.

Brief storyline:

A kind, couragous girl named Florence is a high school student. Her family at home want great expectations from her school work. She would do anything to make her parents proud. However, I think that's what she wanted anyway. Although she wanted to help her Mother and Father in their business, but things have changed since last school semester. She wants to explore the world and live an adventurous life. Unfortunately she meets tragedy along the way, but receives a great blessing throughout her life.

It's a secret between you and me...

Audience expectations:

When we mentioned about tribulation along the way, and Florence receiving a great blessing, we can see that the audience might want to find out what kind of tragedy will Florence be facing throughout her life, and who she will become in the future. This creates tension for the audience, because they would want to desperately find out who she will become and what will happen throughout the story, which will interest the audience.
