For today's activity, I searched up any photo in google. I searched up a picture of an eye because I think its fast and simple to do, since you are not wasting time going all over the top. I think I found it easy at some parts, for example using the 'quick selection tool' to mask around the eye. Then after I finished the eye, I coloured the entire background in black and white, leaving the eye in colour. This is what we call 'Desaturation'. Desaturation - Meaning there's less colour and more black and white.

Pictures that inspire me

These are a couple of images that inspired me from a search.

These pictures inspire me because, I like it how nature and food go well together, and because they are my favourite categories, and not just because of how beautiful they look, it's because of how they both represent each other.

Extreme close up shot

The first picture is an example of an extreme close up shot, meaning it's x2 as a close up. You can only see the face x2 as closer.

Low shot

The second picture is an example of a low shot, meaning that the camera is on the floor, taking the shot. You can only see the feet.

Two shot

The third picture is called a two shot, meaning there is 2 people in the shot.

High shot

The fourth picture is an example of a high shot, meaning the camera is facing down, and the shot was taken from a high platform, for a better view.

Close up shot

The fifth picture is an example of a close up shot, which is similar to an extreme close up, instead that the shot is only showing the full face from the head to the chin.

1) So today, I am learning how to animate using a platform called 'Flipanim'.

2) I am going to be using the following:

- Pen (colour = black and red)

- Layers

- Move

3) So, I clicked on the tool 'pen' , and drew the base of the head first. As I clicked onto the icon which said 'layer', it duplicated, which means I can go over the same picture I did for the first layer, so I can make the character look like it's already moving. I did add a few extra details to the hair etc. In order for me to draw this properly, I used the 'zoom' tool, which was located at the 'clog' icon.

4) In this lesson, I have learnt how to animate drawings, how to use the tools.

I feel like the more I practice this, the more I will enjoy it, then I can do whatever animation I choose and it will be a lot more easier.

5) I am actually really surprised to how my animation turned out, since I never really animated before. I feel like I have learnt a new skill in this lesson. Although, to make it better I could have added more layers to make my character move further. I could have added a background to get rid of the blue squares. I also could have added colour for my character's hair to make it more interesting.
