For my Final Major Project, I will be creating a specialist type magazine for niche audiences. I've been thinking a lot about how it's going to be produced, in other words, I've been having trouble deciding what I should make in order to accomplish this task. At first, I went with the idea of creating a film promotion pack, because I really enjoyed picking out films I liked, then analyzing what each of those elements represent etc. I also liked other units we did such as, producing audio, video editing and all that jazz. However, I wasn't really good at making decisions between the ones I love doing. So I had a 1:1 talk with my teachers regarding the issue I am having. I had a ponder session throughout the weekend since that day. Then I thought to myself, why not make another anime magazine. You enjoyed that. So I think that having a 1:1 with my teachers really did something and helped me along the way. I came to the conclusion of creating another anime magazine, since I really enjoyed creating my own art for it, coming up with inspirations from social media, talking about what kinds of anime I enjoy watching, recommendations etc. Planning out the front covers, inside pages and back covers really gave me a boost towards my creativity. So therefore, I am creating an anime magazine for niche audiences, which talks about the genre of a 'manga world'. I want to be able to open up my thoughts about this, because loads of people out there might not know what anime is, what makes anime an interesting subject and what kind of elements create an anime world. I'm going to be gathering inspirations from social media, watch some of my favourite anime clips that focus on that genre, maybe create questionnaires for people who are already interested in anime, just to hear their thoughts on it as well which is exciting for me, create artwork to show the audience that I am illustrating my point and they may seem interested, gathering types of research that will develop my ideas even further, including: Secondary, primary and contextual, technical etc. I want to put in as much detail as I can possibly can in order to pass this project, because that's what I enjoy doing. I already have the apps/softwares I need in order to accomplish this.
