{Mood board}:

This is the mood board I created currently. I included fantasy images, fonts that I want to be in my magazine cover. In other words, pictures that will make me come up with ideas due to their colours and style.

Here it is:

However, I felt like I needed to be more specific about my magazine. Not just the colour I am focusing on, but what's going to be inside it. That including: Back cover, layout etc.

I wanted to develop my mood board, since I think the previous one won't give me as much ideas.

As you can see on my new mood board I have created, I included more detail of context (background, what's going to be included.) I took some inspirations off Pinterest as well. Here are some screenshots I have taken:

(Ideas I have found for my mood board)

I was re-thinking about my fonts for front cover, so I've been searching up these images for inspiration.

{Primary Research}:

I'm starting with my primary research. That including: Interviews, reviews etc.

I've been looking on YouTube for ideas/Questions I can ask when I interview people.

Here are some links I found:

I took some screenshots to what I found on the web:

(I find that this website goes into a lot more depth with the social side of things)

What I found really inspiring, was the fact that the interviewer recorded a tally, when he kept asking the public if they knew this anime series. It's also very surprising that the amount of people he asked, haven't watched that much anime and watch some of them. It's shocking yes, but very interesting at the same time. I've also taken into deeper thought, when I was scrolling through YouTube to find more interviews regarding this/Which anime do they love watching/Why is it a part of them/Storytelling etc. It's how, people can open up about their opinions, so I think that's why people love that theme.

My interview ideas:

I was thinking of asking people (who are interested) about their favourite anime/Why?

I could ask them: How they became so addicted?

Do you think you will be able to be part of an anime series one day?

(Being adventurous with questions so they can seem more interested)

I'm planning to ask people which magazine they prefer and for me to analyze. Then, I'll be able to get on with the other stages. I guess trying to get feedback really develops your ideas. So for me to do this task, I need to create a google form so I can gain more publicity on the magazines I have chosen. Other than that, it's to show which magazine would be perfect for me to analyze and gain inspirations from it. I'll also be doing the same, but instead of using a magazine cover, I'll be taking screenshots of my death note books to see whether to stick with their style or the other ones. Moreover, I've had a scan through the books I've read, and I am happy with what I found as a result. By taking a look through the back, there were a lot of anime recommendations for me to watch, activities and I guarantee, that people who will be viewing my magazine, who find it difficult to find good anime, will find it useful in their everyday lives.

Here are some magazine layouts/screenshots I have picked out:

Google Document:

I'm starting to do a survey on my magazine analysis to see which front cover is preferable for me to analyze.

Many people gave me feedback on this questionnaire. I'll be able to use their opinions to help me analyze the images I have chosen and boost my way up.

Here are the other pages I did too!
